American Semester Program & Exchanges students are seen as fully integrated MSU students. While our summer programs are topic and theme based, semester students are able to choose courses from a large catalog of offerings. 

SEMESTER STUDY

American Semester Program & Exchanges students are able to choose from a wide variety of course offerings through nearly all academic colleges at MSU. Students normally take between 12-15 credit hours per semester (undergraduate), allowing them to expand their academic interests, and have new, unique experiences.

SUMMER STUDY

We currently offer course topics in Film, Law, Business, Global Studies, Journalism, and International Relations - but are always adding more! Courses are designed as 3 US Credits and our partners in Europe and Australia have accepted them as 6 ECTS - it is your responsibility to find out if you can transfer your ASP Short Course back to your home university for credit.
